Would there be any chance of you giving me that serial number for the 85 Force please?<br /><br />Or anyone else - a sample will do - so I can change the last digit or something!<br /><br />Please guys!?! I want to get the thing insured!<br /><br />It's an 89 Force 85<br /><br />Many many thanks!

Yours is newer than mine so you would have to figure out the model number yourself. As far as the serial number it is four digits. For example 2475.

Here is a model number for a force 85Hp for 1989<br />853X9H, or it could look like this one, 0C858F9D

The serial number is actually a production number. Is it worth putting insurance on a motor that old?

However I found this on the head so I don't recon that's the proper no. as if you changed the head you'd change the serial no. - more likely a part no?<br /><br />Thanks again!
