I think this forum really should have a "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST, FAQ" sticky thread.... something that explains basic problems and answers to popular questions with links to very good threads about respective topics. Also direct users to the “Search” function. Also a copy of the “how to post a pic” instructions, since we love our pics…

This could be a thread that just starts off basic, and grows with time. I think it would add great value to this section, and the forum as a whole.

I just see lots of post that are almost the same topic over and over and have drifted away from the forum myself. Just an idea...

I would have posted this in the Website/Forum area, but that doesn’t seem to get any traffic. I am just hoping a moderator will feel the same way...

Re: FAQ Sticky

Strizzy write one! Compile one and post it. Then you can ask the mods to lock it at the top of a forum. The search system is lacking but it is better then nothing at all.

Re: FAQ Sticky

Too lazy? Do you know how much time I have spent typing out detailed responses? Do, do I see you doing that (in this section of the forums atleast)? No, who’s the lazy one then?

I am not gonna spend the hours its gonna take, just to find out for whatever reason it wont be stickied, mods are mods for a reason, if they want help, I would be more then willing. I think it shows that I am willing to help where I can, I don’t appreciate your comment, nor was it necessary. kthxbye.

Re: FAQ Sticky

easy, easy, strizzy. i agree the statement wasn't necessary. but we don't want you P O'd and leave the forum. most people are resistant to change, it takes time to get them to come around. you should have been here when bbBoard revamped the site. boy was that a cluster f--k. we lost a lot of active knowledgeable members then, and it has hurt the forum. i'm goin gto attach this and send to del ryan,

Re: FAQ Sticky

I think it is a good idea. I'm not sure I understand all of the particulars of the proposal. However, we're always looking for improvements.

I tend to agree that many just will not search, yet at the same time, we don't know how many do search and never post. Kind of a catch-22.

Anyway, it is a good idea, from what I understand. Just help us out with the details.
