Mr. Frank Mundus passed away this morning. Quite a character and controversial pioneer. His biography is a very interesting read. Sharks everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief!!!

1985-1986 I worked in a fishery near Mundus' boat and met him on several occasions. He would stop in after hours for frozen chum and occasional stay to shoot the breeze (very brief cause he would just leave when he finished a story). The character Quint in "Jaws" barely scratched the surface of this man's idiosyncracies.​
