Faria RPM gauge not working

Hi!

When I tried to start my engine on my boat I noticed that the faria rpm gauge is not working( needle at zero)
I have a hour gauge(digital),and that is working which indicates that it's getting 12v
Any ideas where to troubleshoot?

Is the hourmeter and tach in the same gauge? What motor is the tach connected to?

Yes,thats correct.The engine is a VP 5,7 GSI
