The fast idle lever on my control box won't increase engine speed. It basically does nothing. Is there a quick fix to look for here or just take the control box apart and look see?

But first disconnect the cable from the carb and check to see if the cable moves then when you move the lever.
It doesn't move much and if the linkage is out of adjustment the carb will not open any ...
