Fel-pro Q17030, needs extra sealing

Hi,

I'm putting together my mercruiser pre-vortec 350. I have bought the Fel-Pro head gastket Q17030 (Fel-Pro Performance Head Gaskets Q17030 - SummitRacing.com). The mercruiser says that ribbed steel head gaskets needs extra sealing on both sides of gasket but graphite composition doesn't need it. Does my gasket needs extra sealing?

Just put 'em on clean, dry, flat, smooth surfaces, 'n torque to spec....
