Fender Lines

I do not have a railing around my boat. I have Perko fender lock hooks. I have two questions. Where do I find short fender lines 8 - 12" long. The current fender lines have a woven loop at each end. Can't seem to find them anywhere.
Second question is a more practical one. With this type of set-up how do you adjust length of fender line quickly on the fly to adjust to different dock heights, boats sizes your rafting off of, etc.

Just tie a loose knot where you want the fender to hang to adust it. The knot won't fit thru the hole.

If the hole is bigger than it looks in the picture just tie the knot twice to enlarge it.

I hang back 25 yards off the dock that i'm approaching and hang the fenders. Once I'm docked I adjust them to where I want them to hang.
