fiberglass boat floor

I am looking at an old 16 1/2 foot fiberglass boat and the floor is soft anyone have any ideas on what i should expect to find under the glass.

not to cut you short but ,,, ROT ! do a search here on site on rot, rot floors, soft floor , ect.. ther's alot written on this topic..
