I have an older Bayliner that I inherited. I have noticed that there is some type of coating along the water line. The problem is that the boat has been parked in a slip on the lake for several years and I have noticed pitting in the fiberglass thru this coating. Is there an economical way or some product that I can seal over this pitting to prevent or at least slow down the pitting? I would have to rent or borrow a trailer to get it out of the water, so it would have to be something I could do over a couple of week-ends. Won't be able to keep the trailer for much longer than that. I came across this product Interlux Multi season copolymer anti foulant. Is this something that would work? I have not looked at pulling it out and refinishing but I am assuming that if I paid someone to do it, it would cost more the the value of the boat. Any Ideas or other products?

Thanks
