My friend wants to have a company make his hull?<br />he wants to do the top side of the boat himself.<br />A company like sea sport boats,radon,boston whaler,skipjack even. I think he all wet!!So i called sea sport boats and they won't do it!<br />Is there any company or person that makes fiberglass hulls to sell to the public?<br /><br />Thanks Dave

Night - I have heard of companies molding hulls and selling them to be finished with seats, brightwork, engines etc. I have not heard of prople selling just the bottom half of the boat. I am sure he could buy a used boat and customize the upper portion of the fiberglass.

He'd be able to buy a used boat and scab off the botton half for a fraction of what a manufactuer would charge. Plus no name brand company is going to have their name associated with a homemade project.
