Fiberglass Paint

Hey guys got my new transom done and will be moving on to the deck soon but was wondering if I should primer/paint the bare glass or what??? Any nfo or ideas would be great. Thanks

You definitely want to paint exposed glass. Interior bilge area..bilge coat, exterior, plenty to choose from. Epoxy based paints are the best next to Gel coat ( not recommended to apply outside of a mold ).

I just tried some gelcoat (1st time:)) on some floor repairs and a ski locker tonight...

I'll get some pics when it's cured. I added a wax surface agent, we'll see.

I used Rustoleum oil based paint. Worked very well.​

Ayuh,...... I like Rustleum for bilge paint,+ a good Quality 2pt Urethane for hull,+ topsides paint....

I am looking for some kind of primer and paint to do the inside of my new transom and was wondering about when I get the new deck on should I primer/paint that even though I am going to put carpet down?
