fiberglass repair

Hello I need some help I bought a 1978 sandollar boat and I took it out to the lake and it leaks so I found 24" crack on the bottom of the boat how can I patch this crack any help would be great thanks alot this is my first boat I bought.

Not sure what a SandDollar is? Is this a sailboat, fishing boat, ski boat, Fiberglass, Aluminum?? Got any Pics?
