Fiberglass Supplier- Eastern NC

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good fiberglass supplier in the eastern NC area. I would love to not have to pay for shipping. I live in Wilmington and wouldn't mind driving a hour or two. Currently, my plan is to use fiberglasssite.com, which is located in MD. I'm originally from MD, so next time I go to visit family, I can place my order. It would be nice to have a more local supplier though because I'm sure I won't account for all my needs with just one order.

I'd recommend checking with local body shops or Boat Marina and see where they get their supplies. There are very limited suppliers of Resin and I am not aware of any in NC but the local shops should know if there are any and they might be able to Plug you in.

I have no knowledge about that area you are in, but I will remind you to make certain the place you stated allows pickup orders. The place I buy from does not. So either way I had to pay for shipping AND hazmat fees if what you're ordering is a flammable chemical, which polyester is. So just verify, before you place an order, that you can pick up the order in person. JMHO!

Yes, I fiberglasssite does allow pickup.

Check with Waters Body shop. They are just outside of Jacksonville. 910-743-5351. They repair and build boats. I am sure they will know of any local suppliers.
