Fiberglassing with too less hardener

Hi guys!

Yesterday I closed a hole in my boat using a few layers of fiberglass. But it seemed to harden very slow, after 10 hours it's still not hardened out enough. I just discovered that I have used only one-third of the hardener I should have used.

Does it just mean that hardening is going to take a long time or will it never harden out properly?

you can try some heat lights or the like on it but to be safe id just replace the glass and do the job again, but heat from a source like a heat gun or heat lights can work wonders

I agree with Toey77

Remove and Replace, I think it is better to be safe than sorry.

Hit it with a heat gun , if it doesn't go off in 30 minutes it should come off and be replaced.

But if its in a critical location, below the water line, I'd yank it before it sets.
