Fibreglass colour change

Is it possible to change the colour of a fibreglass boat? How difficult and/or expensive is it? I want to go from grey to white?

The easiest and cheapest way is to just paint it. Rub down the gelcoat to get a nice even matt sheen all over, prime with polyester primer, then topcoat with the best marine gloss you can afford.<br />Using the "roll and tip" method you can get a very professional looking finish quite easily. Someone posted some photos of a very nice job here a few weeks back, I forget the name of the thread though...anyone?

That's one thread Indymike, not the one I was thinking of but a good example. The one I had in mind the guy was painting a fairly large GRP boat outdoors, and I think he used an International non-catalyzed product to do the job, end result looked very good.
