Hey guys....
On the Ficht and DI fuel rails, if you have a puncture you have to replace the whole assembly, either the fuel feed (6 lines) or the fuel return (6) lines.

My question is...can these be repaired? Is there a known way to remove the black plastic line from the nipple and re-attach it so there is no leaking? Is this thing heat shrunk onto the nipple?
Can I heat the line up, causing it to soften, and slide it on the nipple?

I really hate to pay upwards of 300 bucks for the whole assembly when the one I have might be fixable.

Any ideas?

Fazt, well....maybe. I have the damaged set, where #3 return line is punctured badly in a few places.
Then, a friend gave me a set of lines, but the fuel supply line from the pump AND the fuel return line to the pump are both missing.

So, I have to piece together these two bad sets to get one good set, and I am wondering how the joints are made.

If I cannot do this, yes then I will need lines.

Be careful. Repairing those lines could turn into a bad fire hazard !
