For those of you who are having trouble with your vapor seperator such as sticking needle and seat .
well you probably allready know that parts arent available you have to buy the whole pump vapor seperator combo for about $700
you can service your vapor seperator upon disassemble you will have about zero chances of getting the unit back together after tear down and cleaning the orings will have swollen and stretched just enough that successful reassembly isnt gonna happen without ruining the orings.
here are all the orings in the assembly from mcmaster carr I have listed the actual part # from mcmaster carr
part#5267t74 qty needed 2 package quantity 50
part#5267t123 qty needed 4 package qty 10
part#5267t53 qty needed 2 package qty 2
these are all the brown viton orings that stand up to gas I beleive i had about $30 into the whole setup with shipping
I had raw fueling leaking from mine into my air box upon cleaning i found some crud on the needle and seat cleaned and presto good to go.
WORD OF CAUTION THE 1/8 LINE COMING OFF THE TOP OFF THE VAPOR SEPERATOR IS PRONE TO THE NIPPLE BREAKING OFF THE CANISTER WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO REMOVE THE HOSE. DONT PULL IT CUT THE LINE OFF IT.
This works on alot of years and models mine is a 2001 135 ficht
