Looking to see if anyone has any tricks or know how I would be able to fill in or fix the crack in my windshield. Just picked up a '67 Starcraft Jupiter and pretty good shape, just needs some cosmetic and minor upgrades. But the windshield does have a pretty nasty crack. I have seen the other post showing how to replace the whole thing which is great, but not something i want to tackle right now. Looking for more of a fix till maybe winter to take on that other project. I have also been unsuccessful in finding a replacement short of a custom plastic shop which is pretty pricey. This windshield is made out of looks like 1/4" think plastic. Included a picture below. Thanks

There is a produce out that is used to basically weld Plexiglas together that may work. It is called Weld On 40. It is a two part clear mixture that lots of folks use to make aquariums and such and is totally waterproof as well. You can try that stuff but it would be better to practice on some little projects until you get the hang of using it. It works the best if you could grind a little "V" notch area between the two cracked sections so the Weld On 40 could fill it up. Then after it cures, you will need to polish it smooth. But it could make that crack basically disappear as well. Here is one source for such glue and mixtures and you can read their material to see if you want to try it or not. Hope this helps... JMHO
