It's running at 1.60 and down to 1.58 in places here in West Tejas. Talked to an old bud this morning...he was on his way to the boat ramp to put in and fish the bayou below Galveston for redfish. Same price down there. Need to fill both my Jerry cans before it goes up again.

Re: Filled the boat up today

Saw one station in my area at $1.47. If I were to fill my saddle tanks (12 gallons, ea) that's about $35.00. At peak prices last summer, the same load of fuel was costing me about $93.00.

I also have two removable aux tanks, which are 12 gallons each, as well. About the only time I use them is when doing SARs for the USCG, or one of the local agencies. At $186.00 per load last summer, I'll admit that I declined a couple of missions, when others were available.

Garry, if you are in the area check in gastonia, i85, exit 21 and 17 and take the northbound ramps. They are under 1.71. SC is about 10 to 20 cents cheaper. I drive I85 all the time so I fill there often. I think hte exit 21 gas station has a billboard a bit before exit 21 with their price.
Im about to put my two 6 gal tanks and fill then both and put some stabil on it.

Naw. Thank your Nu Yuk tax people, and city taxes for that. Oh yea, don't forget Mario Cuomo, he started that gas tax years ago.

$1.59 in Indianapolis this AM. Definitely need to top off the truck. Holding off filling up the boat for now. Never know if I'll keep it or not.

87.4 now.

Ottawa always has the cheapest gas prices to keep the politicians from realizing how bad the prices can be.

Kelowna has about the worst price in the country. At least for a population center of over 100,000.

And diesel is another 23 per litre at about 1.10.
