Does the Evercoat EVERGLASS filler with short strands of fiberglass the same a s epoxy mixed with a hi-density filler compound? Also, does anyone know what the Everglass stuff is used for in comparison with the Kittyhair stuff from Evercoat with the long strands of fiberglass?<br /><br />Fishshier.

don't know for sure,, but think it's not EPOXY but a polyester resin with fiberstrands in it...

evercoat short strand with the hardner is for finishing work on fiberglass,sand then use a (putty polyester with the hardner) to fill in the small hole if any must use a primer sealer before applying a color coat to prevent bleed threw on fiberglass.

Fishsher , is polyester based for sure... Make your own filler... A little epoxy resin and some long strand milled glass fiber... Way better than kittyhair, everglass, or bondoglass (in my opinion)...<br /><br />All that stuff is just for fairing off a surface like filling in scratches before painting.. It's not for repairing holes except for maybe small screw holes...

Question on the Bondo. I used All-Pourpouse Bondo resin to laminate a cloth over my transom when I replaced the coring. Is that stuff any good? And will it hold?
