Fillets???

I am to the point of putting in the stringers this weekend. My question is are the fillets there for any other purpose than to lay the glass or do they add needed support? I have about a gallon of Tiger Hair that I am thinking of using for the fillets to save on the resin and to just use it up. Has anyone tried this before?

The main purpose is to make a radius that the glass can conform to, but in new construction they frequently don't even use anything, the glass is just laid in place and rolled out. While the better method is to make a radius with any sort of putty, its not always done, so whatever you use will most likely be better than what you found.

yup your right there was no fillets on it when I took it apart. Looks like the tiger hair will get used finally!
