filling holes where the exhaust was

HI,<br /><br />I am replacing my transom.<br /><br />I currently have through hull exhaust "logs"<br /><br />I really don't want to go boring big holes through my new transom, so I am thinking of over the transom headers. <br /><br />question:<br />How do I fill in the two 3 inch diameter holes in the hull and make it look good?<br /><br />also, there is no way around it, I must drill 12 small holes through my new transom to mount my jet hull adapter. what is the proper procedure to do this? can I just put some silicone around the bolt holes after I run the bolts through them?<br /><br />thanks

If you are replacing the transom.....how will there still be holes in it?<br />If you mean the 2 holes let in the glass....you glass those back in.
