Hi Folks,
Question. I have a few holes in my transom they are there for some screws or bolts that held an old trolling motor. Some are below the water line. They are pretty small. Do I need to back them with Fiberglass and fill with epoxy? Can I just fill them with epoxy like Marine-Tex only?

Marine-Tex or PC-11 will work fine. Make sure to thoroughly coat the inside surfaces of the holes, then fill with epoxy. Easy repair.

lanlinares, before you go and simply fill the holes, make sure there is no water damage in them first. In other words, drill the holes a little larger to remove any water damaged wood and to verify you are dealing with no rot. If the drill shavings comes out clean and dry, then proceed with filling the holes with epoxy or polyester resins. JMHO
