Hi all!
I have a 1993 135 mariner and I need to add hydraulic fluid after the new tilt motor was replaced. We had released the lower drain screw in order to manually tilt the motor at the launch when the old tilit motor burned up. Where exactly do I add the fluid and what is the proper procedure for this? Any help is appreciated!
THanks in advance!

Re: Filling the tilt hydraulics?

tilt motor up. Fill the pump reservoir. Then open the bleed valves and run the motor down. Close the bleeders then refill the pump and all is well. If it still seems like it hesitates to go up or down bleed it again. Air in the lines is bad on a pump. As you know they are not cheap to replace, so keep water and air out of those lines! Good luck
