last ime out I dunked the trailer with the wife holding on to the bow rope. I fully expected the boat to just float off like it has a hundred times before. Only this time it didnt just float off.... I back in deeper and I see in the mirror it looks to be floating off the trailer..... NOT.... the trailer was floating....... yes I finally forgot to undo the transom straps. Once I undid the straps everything went as planned.
After fishing for catfish we decided to move to a new hole I had heard about...... Start her up.... grip and rip the throttle and the boat will not plan...... all sorts of things are running through my head as to why there is not enough power to plane....... then it hits me...... I let the stinking anchor AND the trolling motor down :facepalm:
