its an 87 Glastron ssv-187 with a mercury 150 black max outboard. it has no rot, no soft spots, all interior has ZERO cracks, rips or tears. It is an oil injected motor so i dont have to mess with adding oil. it fired right up the first try and idled clean and smooth. Went right into both forward and reverse with no problems. has a stainless 19 pitch prop on it. and came with an alum 21 pitch as well.
i took it out today (bought it last night) and ran it up and down the lake with the 19 pitch on it. It planed out nearly right away and rode awesome across the very choppy waters that were on the lake today form all of the wind.
only issues i ran into were i didnt make sure the steering linkage was greased first so some 2 stroke oil and we were gold for our test, and the hand primer developed a leak which got very large fast and began sucking air and started trying to stall out when were were headed back in to the trailer. and then did stall feet form the trailer
no big deal, it will of course be fixed before i take it out again.
