Finally Getting Somewhere...Need Some Quick Guidance

I am replacing some of the seals in the lower on my 9.5 Evinrude. I got the seal out of the housing below the water pump, and I need some help on which seal to put back in.

In the first picture, the seal on the left fits in the hole, but is not as tall as the one that came out. The seal on the right is the same height as the one that came out, but it does not fit in the hole. Also does the one on the right go here (in the upper water pump housing (see 2nd pic)? There are two of each kind of seal in the pack, I am confused... Any help? Thanks. Some of the pics are too large, so this is the only pic that would work. It shows the seal on the right in the upper water pump housing tube where there was nothing before.

Also I looked on google images and the seal that I have pictured is included in the water pump repair kit.

Your pictures didn't work. Not being there I guess I would use the one that fits but isn't as high? Sucks when they make changes to the parts. In the end how did you get the seal out? Rick.

I put the housing a vice and put a screwdriver on the lip and hammered the crap out of it! Then I guess I loosened it up enough to use my seal puller to pry it out, success! I also got the new seal to fit, and I used the smaller one, but it fit wonderfully. I got all the housings and the drive shaft reinstalled and am now struggling to get the lower unit back on. Thanks
