Finally made my mind up on new rifle for ME!!!!

223 Ruger Mini 14!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine in 10.5 days, son and I stopped of at Big 5 today, been drooling over this one awhile, and wanted it for 25 yrs., cant wait!! Ironic to see so many similarities between it and sons 10/22.
And here can only get 10 rd mags.....
none the less I cant wait, decided to give ME a present , lol

We're restricted to only 5 rounds for semi-auto centerfire rifles here in Canada...

The Garand is exempt from this as it does not function without properly without its 8 round clip.

I feel for you guys with magazine restrictions, I have 50 round "back to back" magazines for my SKS and 10/22, though we can't hunt with semi-autos here in pa, so they are strictly back yard blasters. Not to hijack the thread, but I just picked up a S&W 629 in .44 mag. with an 8 3/8" barrel...can't wait for deer season.

I'm not trying to muscle in on your mini 14 thread, I've had mine since 1970. Last week I bought a Bond Arms Snake Slayer. 410/45. Nice little unit. I spend a lot of time in the woods and now I feel more confident around all these damn rattlers and copperheads.
