Well, I ran her until the interior completely fell apart and the floor turned to mulch. I parked it and started the demo.

Last year EZ and Timfives helped me replace the transom. That is one less thing that needs to be done.

Wow..I feel honored to have made it in your title! Looks like the floor has been patched up previously. Was it painted before? Beause it looks darker than mine Have you used the boat a lot since you got it? So, what are the grand plans?

Oh yeah, another SC project underway:thumb:

Let's see, one drilling rivets, one with a rock hammer and a supervisor for the crew. Man with all that help you should have her knocked out by Labor Day! :heh:

Hopefully, once they are both done, we can meet up for some fishing. The boat was definitely painted before. It's a much darker red than yours. I have the consoles painted and went with International Harvester Red. Turned out much closer to yours and I really like it. The floor patch that you see was done by me so that I could get another season out of her. The grand scope will be polished sides, hopefully as good as Glenn got the "naked lady", but keep the red swoosh. I'm not flipping her so ill end up painting the bottom white. Aside from that, the interior will be gray vinyl or carpet, with white upholstery. I'd like to keep it simple and get her back on the water.

Hopefully they see this thread and get over here so we CAN knock this out!

Subscribed, love the aluminum Starcrafts!
Thanks to ezMobee, Ive also been inducted into the "starmada". I traded a glasser for her and have not regretted it. Once this is done, I'd love to find a sunchief for my next resto.

Hey the coat it stuff, I've not seen anyone take a pic of it, is it one part and in a can? Looks as runny as gluvit but darker.

I like the corn binder colors, my Chief got the intl blue and that red looks nice too.

Coat-it is a 2 part system. It actually is pretty thick but I put in on heavy so it caused some runs.

The title says '79, but I'm finding out that this is one of the very few without the poured foam. Some rivets have been coated previously so I'm wondering if this foam was actually original or not
