GA_Boater has it right. No registration numbers on the barge (plus no nav lights, but not required if used only during the day) Also the bowrider in the right front corner of the pic has wrongful placement of its registration numbers.
I was hoping to find the one pic I have where there is about 50 boats going the same direction at dusk. All (except one) was showing its stern light and the red bow light. The only one had a green light. It stuck out like a naked man in church
The Party on the Lake was a sanctioned event held by the park and marina. After the band on the lake, the park puts on a nice fireworks show over the swimmers beach. You can watch from your boat in the lake, the docks or on the hillside overlooking the beach. Event is held in July and usually the park gets filled to capacity. I missed it last year, but have made it there every year since 1983.
