Today I'm hanging a 2003 90 hp Johnson, which I just purchased, on my boat.
The owners manual suggest running 50 to 1 in the fuel along with the oil injection during the "original break in period". Being the motor sat for two years, should I put oil in the fuel at first start up now? { I assume the oil injection is working, but it IS a used motor, so even just to be sure there's lubrication there,,,should I use mixed?} Other than fouled plugs, or smoke, any dangers to consider?
Other than that, besides checking lower unit gear oil, and regular maintenence items, anything else I should know, or watch for?
We're gonna take easy, get a couple hours logged before we open it up.
