Hey everyone, I recently bought my first bought! It's a 15' 1975 Starcraft with a 40hp Evinrude! I paid $525 for her and hopefully by next year she will be out on the lake with a fresh interior and paint job. Also, does anyone know the model of Starcraft, I have no idea what it is.

Looks like a Jet to me, but I don't know if they made Jets in 1975. Anyone else got another idea?

Very nice looking boat, hope you post your progress here.

Looks like a early-to-mid-60s Starcraft Jupiter to me. Looks identical to Ezmobee's old Jupiter actually.

Classic boat, and it appears to be in pretty darn good condition too:D

nice boat! wish i'd found one of those when i was looking for a skiff. and even looks usable as is, if you can live with the seats til winter. you said 40hp but i see 140 on the motor.....if that's correct, get it running right and go race Bayliner owners for titles......;)

i think HA is correct, that looks more like a 60s boat, esp the steering wheel.

Oh my god that resto boat is so nice! I wish it were mine! :) You know, I always had doubts that my boat was actually a '75. I couldn't find anything anywhere that even looked similar in all the '75 models.

Welcome Noskate, nice looking boat. Be sure to check, or even better, replace the water impeller. On any new/used motor it would be better to be safe than sorry, and wouldn't want the motor to get hurt. Oh, when you decide to paint it, make sure to sand off the bowtie on the bow first, it'll run better:D LOL

Welcome NoSkate!! Good looking first boat there! As a newer asylum self admitted, I do have to say you'll get a lot of help here, a lot of hell all the time for more pictures, and some good stories! Pull up your gluvit, your wire wheel, a can of gas and get ready to rock!

Uh...yeah it's a Jet for sure, not sure why I thought it was a Jupiter:)

I knew I recognized that hull from somewhere, it's a spittin image of bananaboaters beautifally restored Jet:D
