New to boating and thought that I could have my boat stored and still have acces to it at will. They told me April 15th was the day the boats would come out for the new season. OK so I waited for 2 more weeks till that day came. Now they tell me that I was early for storage and that the boat is far at the end of the shed and will be last out!!!. This winter lasts forever!! The shed-man won't

You may have to wait longer for your boat, but at least you get to pay more storage fees. ;)

Actually I get the best of both worlds; mine is stored at an outdoor storage yard, right next to a huge old pecan tree. So, while I do get to worry about it during storms, I don't have to check on it first thing in the morning. At least there is a pack of feral cats living on the property - I've never seen any sign of rodents around the boat.

I would not pay one penny past April 15.

I would tell them you were there and ready. Just because they couldn't get it out is not your problem.

Jtexas better put a collar on those kitties or they might get shot and you will not have any varmit protection! :D

Now how are you going to put a collar on? I don't know but I will not be doing it! Kitties have claws and teeth!

I am lucky when I bathe the cats I wear a heavy coat and leather gloves. They get 1 bath a month weather I like it or not!

yeah, don't pay another penny past April 15. It is their fault not yours.

Wouldn't it be more practical to just shove them in the comode with a little shampoo, hold the lid down and flush it a few times?

Seems like that'd work pretty good.

They'd wash themselves, rinse themselves, and if you leave the door open, they'd go right outside to dry off when you opened the lid.

You guys are kidding I actually am not! I have to bathe the kitties once a month so we don't get fleas and such. Once the Cats in the tub its ok it just getting them in is the fun part.

The dogs easy we just tell him to take a shower. :)

Actually he likes a bath, part lab you know.

I am so glad I stayed on topic but I am glad I keep the boat in the front yard. I would hate to have to ask somebody to get me my boat down from the rack :)

Re: First in last out

Thanks guys.... printed this page, went over to the shed-man showed him your various opinions and asked him to have my boat out tomorrow. " So your friends come gunning for me if I don't ?" I assured him you would. He was nice about that, although a bit sceptical. Didn't charge me extra and promissed to have it ready and the bottom of the boat cleaned for free. I guess he is not quit sure I'm not a dangerous lunatic with luny friends....it's raining cats and dogs tomorrow and I want to go boating.. :D Well, all's well that ends well.

Won't be so stupid next year...bought a trailer and rented a spot today where I can get it out any moment I want. Checked today if the plug was in, so that's one thing that won't go wrong (I hope)
Frank :p
