Hello everyone,
I wanna start saying thank you for the amount of good info you all posted!!!

Well Fathers day, I got my first boat :) , 1996 Maxum 1700 with a 1996 Force 120 Hp.

I'm the 3rd owner of the boat, and both previews owners maintained everything really well, got all the records for the work done in the boat, I think is good.
Got the manual for the motor, fish finder and trailer but no owners manual for the boat it self.
Does anyone have or know where I can get a copy of the manual?
I would like to know how big is the gas tank on this boat, the previews owner told me he never fill it up and he didn't know how big the gas tank is.
Also looking for electrical schematic for the boat (not the engine).

Thank you.

You're going to have to research Maxum or visit a Dealer and ask them most likely for an owner's manual. You may get lucky on ebay.

Contact Bayliner Customer Service...... part of the same organization and I think Maxum was closed down this year

Bayliner has great customer service....they photocopied a complete owners manual and shipped it, for free to me for the pretty girl in the pic below.... I will look for the phone number tomorrow and post it.

Thank you!!!
An email is on your way!!!

Well, got the impeller kit on Wednesday, took the lower end out to replace it, and found out the oil seals from the water pump base was cracked, order the parts and should be here on Monday.
So that means She won't be in the water this weekend :-(

Is that really Bayliner Customer Service? If so, I'm surprised they only have 26 posts so far. Also, if it really is, that's pretty darn cool :)

They have been checked out by the moderators and it is Bayliner customer service folks.

Wow, what service. Makes me rethink the boat I was going to get and start thinking about a bayliner now. Impressive
