Is there any merit when first cranking up engine after winter layup to let it turn over some without starting to allow some crankcase oil to be distributed? I?m aware of proper winterizing when putting boat up for winter, such as draining & fogging, but was wondering what is the best procedure when starting up in spring.

Ayuh,.........

Will it Help it,........ Maybe,.......Probably Not..........

But,.......
It Diffinetly will Not Hurt a thing by priming the Oil System with the starter......
