i have a 91 model with a 90 horse force. i need a diagram for the lines on the bottom of the tilt/trim moter the rams. i have the EATON pump that has 4 lines straight out the bottem and 2 wires at the top. also have problem that seems like the prop is slipping, but i put a new one on and marked everything..its not slipping...could the prop be comming out the water or to much turbulance around it ?????

What kind of problem are you having with your tilt/trim system, and are you sure you have the EATON system or is it a retrofit EATON system on the old style set up?

If you could post pics of your trim system that would make t/s this easier as well

And the "turbulence" could be a ventilation problem, or maybe cavitation. Pics of your motor, and the position of the anti-ventilation plate relative to the bottom of your boat (to see where it might sit in the water) would help. Also, specs on your current prop and RPMs when the problem occurs would be good to know.

from everything that i have seen on here, i think it is a eaton, it has 4 fittings on the bottem pointing down,2 is in line with boat, other 2 is side to side. i have seen pics of some that had all the fitting on bottem but all in line to one side..mine aint like that..will try to get pics 2maro....thanks

To me the motor looks a bit low... But I'm new to boats and pontoons.

This thread seems to show the motor higher:

The AV plate seems to be about level with the water line.

@ Eric J
Where does your prop sit in relation to your toons on your boat, that thread you posted is mine, and i think mine is a little high.
Thanks

I'll take a photo this weekend. We'll be beaching the boat on a sandbar, and it will be the perfect time for a photo.

Cool I really think mine is to high

NP. I'm pretty sure my boat is all original, so the way it is, is the way the factory or dealer set it up. I don't seem to have any ventilation issues and the v-shaped center transom seems to block everything above the A/V plate (this from memory, maybe that's not quite right so wait for the photo).

This pic show the realtionships...

I'd say the AV plate is between 10 and 12 inches below the water line. It was kind of hard to tell as it was a bit wavy that day, and the motor is not trimmed level.
