First time running in a long time- 1977 Mercury 850

So I got my Merc started today. It fired up quite easily. It does run rough and won't idle. I included a couple of videos of it running. I also included a picture of the idle stop adjustment. Should it be resting up against this or not. I should take the carbs off and clean them. I've never done that before so any tips or hints would be appreciated. Do I need a full rebuild kit or just gaskets and some cleaner? Things like that. Any input is very much appreciated.

You need a service manual, carb gasket sets (2), 2 floats and 2 inlet needles and seats. Clean and rebuild the carbs and set timing and synch as specified in the manual.
