My seven year old was the first to wake board this season, 10 year old followed suite. River was cold, but I did do some double knee boarding. Illinois river was up and down last 5 days. Who was the first in your family?

Wow I'm glad I live where I do.....

River was 78 degrees two weeks before memorial day, even my mom got in. But to answer your question, my boat, so I got dibs on the first to knock the dust off. 1 cased back roll later I assure you, all the dust was gone haha.

I was first in my family also in early May, although water was only about 55 degrees or so, had the wet suit on. Last year was my first year wakeboarding so no backrolls for me. (Yet)

The lakes are still 60 degrees and it's almost July. Nobody has gone yet.

Wakeboard? I'd be happy to just get out on the water. Our weather sucks.

Sure, it may only be hot here a few months out of the year. But hey, we sure like not having to deal with hurricanes, tornados and droughts like a lot of the country does.

I was the only brave one to get in the water on my 25th Birthday, May 21 with no wet suit... lol. The water temps were in the low 60's but I didn't care.. Our boating season only lasts May - September, gotta do it while ya can )
