Ive got an eagle strata 128 transom mount transducer., it was working fine last year but this year it has started acting up. When im stationary it will work fine for several minutes after being powered on, then it will start malfunctioning. It doesnt matter if im in 10 inches of water or 10ft, the depth reading will rapidly jump up to 300+ft and the bottom contour will become a flat line. If you leave it alone it will correct itself after 5 minutes or so and then the cycle will repeat. Ive cleaned all connections and verified that the transducer is mounted securely.
