Fish Tagging Program In New Jersey

My son and I are looking to get involved into fish tagging in our area. I have been searching the internet with mixed results. I would like to know if anyone has participated in a program or done one of their own. I believe this would be a good family project that may have some interesting results. :) Any help or info would be appreciated. Just in case anyone is watching this thread, I have been in touch with a very nice gentleman (Bill Shillingford) from Cape May County about a tagging program. It just happens that he wrote an article for "The Fisherman" (07/07/05 issue) about fish tagging. My son and I are setting up an Access database to track his tagged fish. Should be interesting to see what happens.

You may want to check some of the laws. I'm sure that NJ, being the state that it is, has some kind of law forbiding tagging.
