I have a Fisher 200 (06) that I need to replace the key switch. Where can I find a wiring diagram for which wire goes to which terminal on the keyswitch?:

Re: Fisher200 key switch wiring

You very likely will not get that information from Fisher (even though they built the boat). Many manfuacturers don't publish wiring diagrams. Besides, the key switch is part of the engine harness and you failed to tell us what engine you had. But it is likely an outboard and there are generally six terminals on the switch.

B = 12 volts from the battery via the engine harness. Usually red.
A = Accessory (12 volts to the instruments when the key is on and usually purple.
C = Choke or primer. Color depends on engine
S = Start (sends 12 volts to the starter solenoid when the key is in the start position. Color depends on engine).
M = Magneto
M = magneto (Yes there are two of them. These two terminals are shorted together when the key is off. Kills the engine) Colors depend on engine.
