I always try to help people, but let me tell you, there are some real plugs out there. I don't know what to say other than next time you see them, wave as you pass by...your choice on the number of fingers you use...

Daza, he is from an inland area. We dont generally have VHF, no one listening. Regs require either a whistle or horn for inland use. He tried on the horn. Im not trying to be a smart aleck, we small water people operate differently. :)

let's see...a group of 10 fishing boats, that tells me they're on an actively feeding school. Otherwise they wouldn't be fishing that close together.

Are you actually complaining about fishermen not abandoning an active school of fish to provide a tow for a ski boat not in distress other than motor won't start? Fishing's not like skiing - when the fish are biting you got a small window of opportunity.

But, for the record, if I see you waving both arms over your head, I'll always come right over to offer assistance even if the fish are biting. As will most of the fishermen I know.

Wishing I was reeling in fish is what I usually do; actually reeling in fish only happens occasionally. :D :D

Can't you just hear it now "they were biting fine until these three dudes swam into the middle of 'em pulling a boat!" :D Or, maybe they were just enjoying the entertainment; it's not every day you get to see a boat propelled by three swimmers. :D Wonder how that converts to horsepower?

Sorry, don't know why I feel compelled to defend the actions of a few Kentucky fishermen I never met. But it was kind of funny, "oh are you guys broke down." The temptation to get real sarcastic would probly been too much for me - then we could of swam all the way to the launch!
