getting a bit cool for skiing, boat's running ok...seems like i should be spending my time fishing..we should have a dedicated forum, no?.

We do. Scroll down from the General Boating/Outdoor Activities, and you'll come to Fishing, which has the two subforums of Freshwater Fishing and Saltwater Fishing.
