A very good friend of mine has had very good success the last three days on the NW corner. Friday, Saturday and Sunday my friend had three fish dressed over 500 pounds and each day it did not take him long to catch. Beats going to Georges Bank where he had been going.
Plenty of mac's being caught around Gloucester. Has been one of the best years for mac's staying the summer, may have something to do with the herring boats being restricted to fish outside of area one.
