Re: Fishing in VA Beach

My wife and I got a yearly pass for 64th street launch, its like 97.00 a yr. Or like 7 to 9 bucks. If I am fishing and I usually fish around the Lesner bridge or I go out to the Hampton roads bridge tunnel. I launch from the launch right there at the lenser bridge. its 7 bucks if you have a saltwater fishing lic. if not its like 14 bucks. There are many oyster beds throughout this area and its getting drum season so best best are there. I use jigs, mullet, squid and synthetic Gulps. I do not do much freshwater, but lake joyce and whitehurst off northhampton are ok.

I dont think its against the rules for me to direct you to very good sorce for current fishing reports so check this.pierandsurf.com. You can even find where to buy or catch bait from locals who use this forum.
