When you guys fish with umbrella rigs do you guys put the rod in a rod holder or some other apparatus. I saw on YouTube a guy was using a holder that was on a slight angle. I would like some info on trolling like where to put your rod and how far out should your line be. Any other info would be awesome?

The rod holders on my gunnels are 30 degrees. The ones on the rocket launcher are 15 degree. Rupp Marine Rod Holders from Alltackle.com

Wide open question. Depends on what your draggin. Your speed. How deep the fish are, etc. I run mine anywhere from 50' - 275' feet behind the boat using in-line weights ranging from 0 to 32 ozs.

yeah, what are you trolling for? we would need more information about what you are trying to do before offering much advice. But that being said generally when trolling you will want a varied spread. A downrigger is nice to getone bait down deeper, and for the surface i always hang one single bait waaaay back, with baits staggered in closer.
