Here it is...I'll keep posting more as we go.
It's a 1955 Feathercraft Skipper (13'). I bought it in 1993 at a public auction for $50. It was a college graduation present to myself. At the time it floated and got me to my fishing holes which is all I cared about. Unfortunately in 1999 I bought an 1800's stone home and since the house need a remod, the boat took a back seat and did not get used since. Well, the house is now done to a point where I can enjoy my hobbies again, and so as one of them, I turned to my boat. Here goes...
Here she is just starting to get the exterior duck boat green paint off. I used a citrus strip biodegradeable stripper. It worked, but it had to sit for a while. Stripped all paint with a plastic scraper and then used a wire brush on my drill.
Interior after I ripped out the wood seats and transom
Stay tuned...
