so the delimna have a little snowmobile trailer that i use for a utility trailer guess i didnt think much that the boat would fit but common sense should tell me no i dont have enough room to have another trailer so my thought here is that can cut it behind the toungue where it hitches and slide another piece of square tubing inside so it can slide i can double pin it then and my utility trailer is now longer so the boat fits and when boat isnt on it i can shorten it up what do u guys think

Why not just flip boat upside down, moved forward on tongue, strap down, lauch without backing all the way down the ramp. Will be hard on wheel bearings getting wet, lights not water tight, and square tubing may be odd size to find a slide over peice, pluse may break out due to metal fatgue where pins are. Just giving an idea.

Math wasn't one of my stronger subjects but to fit a 14' boat on a 7' trailer I reckon you'd have to cut in half ...? Sorry

7ft snowmobile trailer? From the 60's or something? The shortest ones you can get now are usually 10ft

First, is it a Vhull or a flat bottom? No such thing as both.

Really, really bad idea, brian. Get a trailer that it fits before you kill yourself, or worse, some innocent bystander.
