Fitting tilt/trim to old mercs?

Late 60's early 70's 80hp models, is it possible, if so, where can the bits to make it happen be found, will the later model stuff fit?

Later model stuff won't fit old 800's. They used twin cylinders outside the clamps. Newer units are between the clamps. Old Mercs die every day and old trim units can be found on eBay and at tcoutboard, plus plenty of others.

Thanks, do the older models have a remote mounted pump? Is it only possible to have trim and not tilt as well?
