fixed problem with 75 v4 85hp

for some reason its like its not wanting to use #2 cyl it gets fuel has fire and 100 psi compression on all four cyl but #2 plug looks brand new other then saturated with fuel 1,3,4 plugs all look good anyone else ever seen this?

You need to use an actual spark tester. Should jump at least a 1/2" gap and then some.
Grounding against the block only tells you that you have some spark. Things break down under compression.

If you have a blown cylinder head gasket water can enter the firing chamber and steam clean the plug; it will look better than the others but won't perform.

Compression test may reveal the problem, but if you don't mind the cost of the gasket, pull the cylinder head and check it out.

compression is good well over 100 psi and spark is over 1/2 inch

ok begining to think its just me my problem first started as no fuel to that cyl i fixed that but still seems to run the same all plugs are wet and have good spark how long should it have to run at idle till plug gets burnt looking am thinking about takeing to lake tomorrow and see what happens worse case i pull drain plug and let her sink lol then convince wife i need new boat

ok should have done this sooner and goes back to the whole k.i.s.s. method i pulled all plug wires but #2 and it will run so it is fireing on all four im headed to river now to try it out

ok boat ran good and planed out in about 4 seconds but top end seemed kinda slow will try man trim out one hole tomorrow

runs great ran at 35mph with 2 adults and 2 kids
